Art and Design

Let us now praise aesthetically-driven creators.

Beverly Acha is a multi-disciplinary artist hailing from Miami, Florida. We love the way her paintings play with composition, color, form, and scale.

Token NYC is a Brooklyn-based design firm that crafts everything in house (honestly! It's not a marketing scheme. They're the real deal). We so admire their ability to combine excellent craftsmanship skills with fresh shapes and beautifully tactile materials. Their furniture is built to last.

Founded in 2013 by Lora Appleton, kinder MODERN has been a favorite source for beautiful design since we met at the ICFF many years ago. This mobile is one I’d buy for any new parent—sweet dreams ensured for all babies who slumber under this modern mobile.

Simone Bodmer Turner is an artist who works with clay. She creates such elegant contemporary pieces that simultaneously look like they belong in a sci-fi movie directed by Giacommeti about ancient ritualistic vessels.
